We are going to the 10th Angkor Photo Festival & Workshops in Cambodia, and taking your pictures with us !
BlowUp Angkor is an outdoor photographic intervention by Blindboys.org which runs along side the 10th Angkor Photo Festival & Workshops. BlowUp brings exhibitions and projections to the street of Siem-Reap Cambodia. Spread over the city the exhibitions explores the intersection between the street and photography. Combining photo exhibitions, outdoor photo installations, talks, and night-time multimedia projections, BlowUp welcomes an democratic audience to photography in unconventional venues. Immersion and interactivity are at the heart of what makes BlowUp. By creating a physical platform for photographers of all stripes to come together and interact, BlowUp provides a unique opportunity to engage with a diverse audience – both visitors to the Angkor Photo Festival as well as the people of Siem Reap.
Our projections & exhibitions are selected from a call for submissions; we want to ask you our community of photographers across the globe to share their work with the people of Cambodia.
We are looking for collaborators : if you’re a photo-collective or run an interesting photo related project drop us a line at firstname.lastname@example.org. We would love to work with you to find a way to include you into our projections.
